Jane Eyre - A Classic Novel That's Actually Fun

Jane Eyre is a classic of English literature.  You knew that.  Did you also know it's a page turner?  We'll look at film adaptations of the novel.  We'll look at how the novel's gothic elements create suspense.  And, since it's a romance, we'll explore how the work has impacted a host of spin-offs - where the poor girl gets the unobtainable guy.  The book has it all: a hard-headed lead character, a haunted attic, mystery, fire, thunderstorms, and a happy ending.
