St. Johns River State College - Academic Affairs

SJR State Professional Development Institute

Professional Development Institute

SJR State dedicates a day for all faculty, staff, and administrators to come together and engage with their colleagues through a series of employee-led presentations on a wide variety of topics and best practices. Sessions are full of innovative strategies and methodologies designed to engage students and improve the college experience for both students and personnel alike. Concurrent sessions are held throughout the day, so while it may not be possible to attend every session of interest live or in person, this site is intended to make the presentation materials from all sessions available to everyone on demand.

In addition, this is a day for us to come together and recognize our faculty and staff for the work they do by honoring them with Service Awards and Awards of Excellence and to recognize and bid farewell to those retiring this year.
